RESIDENTS have been left angered after motor and quad bikes have been ridden round a Bournemouth park, causing damage and noise complaints.
Bournemouth Police shared on its social media that residents around Redhill have been reporting the incidents.
After concern for the damage and disturbance to those living nearby, officers have began patrolling the area during evenings.
“Residents around the Redhill area of North Bournemouth have been reporting incidents where motor and quad bikes have been ridden around the grass area, causing damage and alarm to the park users.
“This is not only dangerous, but the noise is having a detrimental effect to those living nearby.
“This is becoming a frequent occurrence and the Neighbourhood Policing Team have been patrolling during the evenings to discourage and disperse.”
