AN ALTERNATIVE 90s themed pub in Bournemouth - The Four Horseman is our Pub of the Week.

This vibrant venue is located at the Triangle and boasts an exciting new collaboration with Four Corners Detroit-style pizza.

Dan Sullivan manages the pub, which he has transformed into a popular retro venue with entertainment seven days a week.

Dan said: “We specialise in craft beers and unusual spirits, things you wouldn’t see in your average bar.

“We will definitely have something you haven’t tried before, and that could be your next favourite drink.”

Bournemouth Echo: Different spirits at the Four Horseman

The upstairs is unique and colourful, with an alternative 90s bar and kitchen and throwback songs playing on the stereo.

The Four Horseman is teaming up with Bournemouth-based Pizza restaurant Four Corners for Detroit-style pizza.

Dan said: “I think it is the best pizza I have ever had.

“It’s a really different style of pizza consisting of a thick focaccia crust with a burnt cheese crust and then a selection of gourmet toppings.”

Four Corners said: “We’re joining forces with our friends at the Four Horseman pub to continue serving our signature pizza pies.

“Together, we will keep the pizza party going.”

The pizza place is leaving its premises at Commercial Road and moving into the kitchen at The Four Horseman.

The pub is also introducing gourmet hot dogs (beef and vegan) and a variety of new side dishes.

The Four Horseman has a jam-packed schedule of events in the downstairs basement of the pub, which offers ‘something for everyone.’

On Mondays, the pub hosts a retro games night, where people can come and play classics such as Mario Kart and Street Fighter.

The pub throws a weekly quiz on Tuesdays, inviting people to come and test their trivia knowledge.

Wednesdays is Warhammer while the upstairs bar plays board games.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the venue hosts a number of live bands, DJs and club nights.

Depending on the month, on Sundays, the Four Horseman has stand-up comedians, karaoke and acoustic nights.

Dan said, “We’ve had it all: hip-hop, death metal, folk, jazz lounge singers, punk, any grassroots artist.

“It’s a venue for everyone.”
