A BOURNEMOUTH hotel remains open after falling into administration while new buyers are found.

Gordon Hotels Limited, trading as The Mercure Bournemouth Queens Hotel and Spa, went into administration on Monday, March 4.

However, the hotel in Meyrick Road will continue to remain open for business and trade as normal.

Philip Dakin and Janet Burt of Kroll Advisory Limited have been appointed joint administrators.

The administration was confirmed by staff and has been noted on the hotel’s website.

Companies House says Gordon Hotels Limited's accounts are overdue, with directors listed as Georgina and Timothy De Glanville.

A spokesperson on behalf of The Mercure Bournemouth Queens Hotel and Spa said: “Philip Dakin and Janet Burt of Kroll Advisory Ltd were appointed as joint administrators of Gordon Hotels Limited on 4 March 2024.
