Parts of Dorset experienced a surprise fluttering of snow over night leaving some people to wake up to a snowy landscape this morning.
Areas of north and west Dorset saw snow fall overnight in areas including Sherborne, Shaftesbury, Gillingham and Dorchester.
Whilst the snow may be short lived this morning, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service has issued a reminder to people driving after a snowfall.
A spokesperson for the service said: "If your ‘wintry showers’ were more than expected, make sure you completely clear your windscreen before driving - no peering through a porthole.
"Some roads could be a bit tricky first thing, so take it steady and allow a bit more time for your journey."
In Sherborne it will be a bit colder, though, and there is a chance of rain late this afternoon at around 5pm. Temperatures will peak at 7 degrees but will drop to zero overnight.
Shaftesbury will be cold on Saturday with highs of around 5C but it will feel like just 2C.
On Sunday it will slightly warmer on Sunday at around 7C.
Blandford will be cloudy with sunny spells at times and highs of around 7C and a feels like today of 5C.
Meanwhile, on Sunday highs of around 9C are expected with sunny spells forecast for most of the day. It will feel like around 7C.
Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole is set to see highs of around 7C today, Saturday, but it will feel like just 4C.
It is expected to be dry with sunny spells on Sunday in BCP with highs of around 9C and a 'feels like' temperature of 7C.
