A MAN in his 80s was pronounced dead after a medical emergency in Parkstone.
Several police cars and ambulances were seen parked along Ashley Road at the time of the incident.
After receiving medical attention, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 11.23am on Thursday 22 February 2024 of a man in need of medical attention in Ashley Road in Poole.
"Officers attended to assist the ambulance service.
"Very sadly, the man – aged in his 80s and from Poole – was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"His family is aware and HM Coroner has been notified.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious.
"Our thoughts are with the man who sadly died at this difficult time."
