AS A Bournemouth tax payer and home owner I strongly object to the proposed blanket 20mph speed limit across the BCP area.
The proposal will slow traffic down to such an extent that congestion will increase exponentially creating more car fumes, a less clean air environment and angry drivers.
People needing to get to work, take their children to and from school or do their shopping are not going to resort to buses, bicycles and foot traffic!
This is a daft and unrealistic proposal that I strongly object to - perhaps each of our councillors would like to give up their car for six months and see how they would go about their daily business!
