CAN you give any of these animals a forever home?

Dorset-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green wants to find permanent homes for a number of animals in its care.

All the details can be found below

Bournemouth Echo: RomeoRomeo (Image: Margaret Green)

Romeo is a five-year-old, ex-racing Greyhound who is full of love and energy. He is looking for patient owners who will help him settle into his new life, as he may initially be unsure of his surroundings due to not having experienced home comforts before.

Margaret Green said: "We feel that this bouncy boy would be happy living with other medium to large-sized dogs and children over 8 years old, but he would be best suited to a home without any resident felines."

Bournemouth Echo: BellaBella (Image: Margaret Green)

Bella is a five-year-old Shar Pei x Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is a real cuddle bug and foodie. She would love to find new owners who have experience of her breed mixes, so she can continue to become the best version of herself.

Margaret Green said: "We feel that Bella could live with adults, teenagers and possibly a male dog of a similar breed and size, following successful introductions, but she would be best suited to a home without cats or small furries."

Bournemouth Echo: DonnyDonny (Image: Margaret Green)

Donny is a sensitive but very loving, two-year-old Greyhound who entered our care when his racing career came to an end.

Living with other dogs of a similar size would be beneficial for Donny, but he would be best suited to a quieter home without any cats. He would love to find a new family with adults and teenagers, where someone will be home for most of the day to help him settle into his new routine.

Bournemouth Echo: KeenanKeenan (Image: Margaret Green)

Keenan is a10-year-old who has found the transition into the cattery environment quite overwhelming, but she is becoming braver every day. She is looking for patient owners who will give her the time and space she needs to build a bond and settle into her new home.

Keenan would be at her happiest in a quiet adult or family home with no other pets, where she will have free access to an enclosed garden.

Bournemouth Echo: Bingo & BelindaBingo & Belinda (Image: Margaret Green)

Bingo & Belinda are a lovely pair of feathered friends who are both Leghorn crosses that are under a year old. Bingo loves to run down the fence line to greet his carers every morning, whilst Belinda enjoys taking a back seat until her breakfast arrives, and then she always beats Bingo to their bowl! We feel this wonderful duo would be happy to continue as a pair or could equally be introduced to an existing flock.

Bournemouth Echo: Pixie & BoPixie & Bo (Image: Margaret Green)

Pixie & Bo are mother and daughter who are 5 and 3 years old. They are looking for a home with a large outdoor space, with plenty of room for them to explore and sunbathe in the warmer months. Since being in our care, Pixie & Bo have discovered their love of digging so it would be important for this cheeky pair to find a home that’s well-secured, to ensure they remain safe.
