DANCING, drinks and a hidden cocktail bar- The Bermuda Triangle is our pub of the week.

Established in 1870, Bermuda Triangle, offers 'something for everyone.'

At Parr Street in Ashley Cross, Bermuda Triangle is a popular pub for 'after workers, families and youngsters.'

Keith Darker is the general manager and has worked at the Bermuda Triangle for more than 10 years.

Keith said: "We often get three generations of family, grandparents, mum and dad and young people, which makes a great atmosphere for the pub."

It is split into various different rooms.

Downstairs promises a traditional British pub, nodding to the theme of the Bermuda Triangle.

Keith said: "The downstairs is a traditional British pub; we have comfortable seating and are fairly cosy.

"It follows the theme of the Bermuda Triangle. We have things like an aeroplane wing and collections of various things you can imagine being washed up on the beach."

The downstairs pub hosts live music three nights a week.

Keith is generally in charge of booking the bands that perform.

He said: "We like to mix up the type of music we have. It tends to be more acoustic-type music on Wednesday.

"On Friday and Saturday, anything goes.

"We like to have music that people can dance to because that's what the customers like."

One of the hidden gems at Bermuda Triangle is the upstairs cocktail bar, which is hidden behind a secret bookcase.

Keith said: "We decided to add a cocktail bar upstairs, but we wanted to do something a bit different and quirky and something that people would talk about.

"We never advertised it, so we love to see the surprise on people's faces when they see someone emerging from a bookcase."

The upstairs cocktail bar has a live DJ every Friday, a dance floor, and an outside covered/heated terrace.

The Bermuda Triangle offers more than just music and drinks; it also provides an extensive breakfast and brunch options.

Weekly evening specials and Sunday roast-style dishes are available on the weekend.

The pub is open seven days a week from 12pm to 11pm, Sunday to Monday, and 12am on Friday and Saturday and is located at 10 Parr Street, BH14 0JY.
