A GREGGS that is expected to be one of the largest in the UK is set to open ‘in the next few weeks’.
The national bakery chain, famous for its meat and vegan sausage rolls and steak bakes, confirmed that the store, at Wessex Gate Retail Park in Poole, would be opening soon.
Plans from the site owners, Wessex Gate Limited, for the chain to move in, were approved in October 2022.
When the shop opens, it could be one of the biggest Greggs in the country, with around 285 square metres of space.
The chain has been advertising for jobs at the new store at the retail park.
A spokesperson for Greggs said: “Greggs is due to open a new shop in the Wessex Gate Retail Park in Poole within the next few weeks. We will be able to share further details with you closer to the opening.”
