NEARLY two acres of National Grid land is up for sale.

The brownfield land off Victoria Avenue in Swanage is part of the firm’s property portfolio and consists of offices, depots, houses and land.

They are all used for National Grid's business operations, let to third parties or surplus to requirements.

This site is surplus to National Grid’s requirements from an operational perspective and BNPPRE have been instructed to sell this site via Private Treaty.

All 1.75 acres of the land will be sold subject to the existing tenancies, BNP Paribas Real Estate said.

The Site comprises three let parcels, used for open storage and light industrial purposes, and has leases to Ideal Skip Hire, Scientific Design & Development and Southern Electric Power Distribution.

However, any planning developments by potential buyers would have to ensure it follows the Swanage Local Plan, adopted from the old Purbeck District Council in 2017 and lasts until 2027.

The total passing income on the property is £36,230 per annum.

Offers must be submitted before 12pm on Thursday, February 29 and handed to james.mitchell@bnpparibas.com.
