I POPPED into Romsey town centre the other day.
Parking for two hours was only £1.
And the parking machine accepted cash as well as cards.
Reminds me of happy days in BCP where I now rarely shop or use local services partly because of the current high parking costs.
BCP Council, kindly take note. I do not envy the massive challenge you have coming up with balanced budgets over coming years but, please, try to find a way to reduce the cost of car parking.
Shops and other businesses in the three town centres (and in the smaller district shopping centres) need cheaper parking to help them to survive.
