A MAN assaulted a woman and threatened to burn her family home down.
Ryan Hill was charged with a number of offences against a woman in Bournemouth.
Hill, 49, admitted beating the woman on November 10 last year, and sending a ‘grossly offensive’ message on the same day.
He also admitted threatened the woman, saying he would burn down the family home.
Hill, of Purbrook Way in Havant, appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on February 6 for sentencing.
The defendant was handed a community order lasting until August 5, 2025, with a requirement to complete 200 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
