THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

TYLER RATCLIFFE, 25 and of Junction Road in Poole, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Bournemouth on June 24, 2023. The defendant was handed a community order running until January 29, 2025. He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £114.

JOSEPH KITCHEN, 29 and of Cynthia Road in Poole, admitted stalking a woman in Poole between August 15, 2023, and January 7. He sent her multiple unwanted text messages, left her unwanted voicemails, made numerous phone calls, turned up at her address uninvited and followed her. The defendant was handed a community order lasting until January 29, 2026, A five-year restraining order was made ordering him to not contact the woman. He was also fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

IOAN SIMON, 33 and of Bramshaw Gardens in Bournemouth, admitted beating a woman on September 21, 2023, in Bournemouth. He also admitted causing criminal damage to a property in Nortoft Road, Bournemouth, on September 21, 2023. He was handed a community order running until July 29, 2025, with 60 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £250 in compensation, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £114.

JORDAN REECE BEAVIS, 26 and of Denmark Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on September 14, 2022. He was fined £60 and ordered to pay costs of £30.

DANIEL LUKE BURGIS, 43 and of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Poole Magistrates Court on July 31, 2023. The suspended sentence was varied to become eight weeks in prison suspended for eight weeks, and to include new unpaid work requirements. The defendant was also ordered to pay costs of £60.

MATTHEW CHARLES BESLEY NORTON, 59 and of Meadowland in Christchurch, admitted driving without insurance in Barrack Road, Christchurch on October 31, 2022. He was fined £400, ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £160. He also got six points on his licence.

MARK ADAMS, 35 and of Chaddesley Glen in Poole, admitted speeding in Compton Avenue in Poole on October 6, 2022. He was fined £307, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £123 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service. He also got three points on his licence.

MARCIN NIEWEGLOWSKI, 44 and of Bennett Road in Bournemouth, admitted drink driving in Bennett Road on June 15, 2023. The defendant was handed a community order running until January 31, 2025, and disqualified from driving for six months. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

LEON WALKER, 22 and of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Leicester and Rutland Magistrates Court on July 21, 2023. The community order was varied to contain new rehabilitation activity requirements.

OLIVER MARTIN JONES, 33 and of Bedford Road South in Poole, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on November 9, 2022. The community order was varied to contain new unpaid work requirements. The defendant was also ordered to pay £60 in costs.
