WHY am I not surprised at the report where misplaced outrage, no matter how expressed, was shown by the council/police at a resident’s dog having a wee in the town centre when we have the centre in an actual state of near dilapidation.
The ability to prioritise seems lacking in our public services.. we will see a rise in our council tax, yet, as an example, along Fairmile Road in Christchurch we have the new interactive modern signs showing where you are located, in an area unknown for tourist footfall, so one presumes frequented by local residents who know exactly where they are!
How much did this scheme cost whilst essential services will likely face cuts?
Where’s the signpost to common sense?
