CORFE Castle is calling families (and their adventurous teddy bears) to get involved in conservation this half term.
The National Trust team at the castle has invited families to take on its latest quest, Mission Conservation.
Children can hunt the quest boards around the castle to learn how the charity protects and cares for the ruins.
Those who complete the quest will earn a limited edition conservation token.
The ever-popular teddy bear zip-wire is set to return, with visitors encouraged to bring a cuddly toy or borrow a Corfe Castle veteran to soar over the Great Ditch.
Teddy hard hats are available for soft toys to survey the conservation works on their way down and selfies in front of the castle are encouraged.
Eoin McDowell, experience and visitor programming manager at Corfe Castle said: “Corfe Castle is the perfect place for families this half-term.
“Children can enjoy carefully designed activities while also blowing away cobwebs in the fresh air and parents can relax and enjoy the scenery.
“Don’t forget to bring a teddy... and there may be a surprise from the past.”
The castle is open as normal between 10am and 4pm daily throughout half term.
Normal admission fees apply.
