CHRISTCHURCH Town Council has spent £4,000 revitalising the Quay and adding a new slide.
It comes after the quay was battered in recent storms which caused a fallen tree and debris.
The council cleaned the area, removed the tree and also installed a new slide.
Acting town clerk, James Atkinson, said: “I'm thrilled to share the positive developments at Christchurch Quay.
"The new slide enhances safety for our youngest residents, while the removal of flood debris and new English oak tree ensures a clean, secure and beautiful environment."
Damaged during recent storms, the oak tree was removed and replaced by an infant English oak at the cost of £675.
The slide was installed slightly later on February 2 with a specifically designed slide put in as a replacement to the old damaged one.
The total cost for the removal, new slide and fitting was £3,015.
Mr Atkinson said: "These upgrades align with our ongoing efforts to create an inviting and safe space for everyone in Christchurch to enjoy."
