THIEVES snatched a casserole dish, airpods, jewellery, and multiple other items from a stolen Audi in Bournemouth.

The black Audi A3 had reportedly been stolen from an address in Lonsdale Road between 4am and 6am on Sunday, December 17.

A few days later, the car was located in the area of Milton Road, Bournemouth, and was returned to its owner.

A 33-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle.

A 34-year-old local woman was arrested on suspicion of allowing herself to be carried in a stolen vehicle.

The man has been released on police bail and the woman has been released under investigation.

Following enquiries, police discovered that a number of suspected stolen items were missing from inside the vehicle, including several items of jewellery.

These include a pair of gold, Greek meander stud earrings, as well as a silver necklace with a copperplate J on the pendant.

Other items reported as missing include a green Le Creuset casserole dish, a naval uniform, an Apple iPhone charger and a set of Apple AirPods, a black rectangular terrine dish, a yellow Yeti flask and several items of clothing.

Officers are now in the process of attempting to recover the stolen items.

Police constable Sarah Donnelly, of Bournemouth police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this vehicle theft and we are appealing to members of the public for further information and assistance.

“I would also like to ask anyone who was seen the items in the photos or matching the description being sold in suspicious circumstances to please contact us.”
