A 20mph default speed limit could be brought in across BCP
I am 100 per cent behind 20 mph default.
The average speeds on Google Maps across BCP are 12 to 15 mph!
So what difference will it make safer roads.
Cars will have more time to navigate the perceived obstructions.
The only thing slowing traffic is the shear volume of traffic on the road.
Strangely and perversely with less cars on the road and a lower speed limit, average journey times may improve.
