A PAIR of pigs are looking for their forever homes in Dorset.

Charlotte and Dougal are currently being looked after by Margaret Green Animal Rescue.

They are among eight animals the charity is looking to rehome this week.

Can you help? All the details are below.

Bournemouth Echo: GeorgieGeorgie (Image: Margaret Green)

Georgie is a 10-month-old Golden Retriever x Labrador Retriever who would love to find new owners that will have time to continue his training and give him opportunities to have a run around safely, whilst practising his recall skills. Georgie is looking for a home with adults and teenagers who will be home for most of the day, whilst he settles in. Margaret Green said: “We feel he could possibly live with another like-minded, playful dog, and a confident resident cat.”

Bournemouth Echo: SiskiSiski (Image: Margaret Green)

Siski is a 3-year-old, ex-racing Greyhound who is looking for a new home with adults and older children. He would love to find new owners who ideally have knowledge of his breed and will be able to encourage him to investigate new things, without overwhelming him. Margaret Green said: “We think Siski would be happy living with a confident Sighthound to help show him the ropes, but he would be best suited to a home without cats or small furries.”

Bournemouth Echo: HoneyHoney (Image: Margaret Green)

Honey is a cheeky Bulldog cross who is around 8 months old. She is looking for a home with adults and teenagers who are used to dogs with an energetic personality, and will be able to attend training classes with her. We feel that Honey would be happy to join a home that already has canine family members, pending successful introductions, but she would be best suited to a home without cats.

Bournemouth Echo: TuppenceTuppence (Image: Margaret Green)

Tuppence is a beautiful 12-year-old who is a fearful soul that has struggled with the transition into the cattery environment. She would love to find a calm, quiet home with free access to an enclosed garden. We know that Tuppence has previously felt most comfortable being around her number one human. Therefore, we believe she would be happiest living with one or two adults, who will be happy to work on building that all important human-animal relationship.

Bournemouth Echo: Charlotte & DougalCharlotte & Dougal (Image: Margaret Green)

Charlotte & Dougal are a bonded pair of pigs who are both five-years-old. Charlotte is an inquisitive and chatty girl who loves receiving fuss and attention. Dougal can be shy to start with, but he soon warms up to people and also enjoys a good fuss. They love taking a dip in the wallow in the summer and having zoomies around their field! They are looking for a home with a draught-free bedroom and a large paddock space.

Bournemouth Echo:

Florence & Tiger are an adorable pair of rabbits who are both 4 years old. They are looking for a home where they will have plenty of space to explore, and a sunny spot where they can rest together. We have noticed that Florence enjoys having a quiet space where she can go to relax and take time for herself, so we feel that it would be important for her to have this special place in her new home too.
