THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

ISHTIAQ AHMED, 53 and of St Helens Place in Leyton, appeared after failing to provide information to Dorset Police on July 13 and 15, 2022. The information related to the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. The defendant was disqualified from driving for six months and got six points on his licence. He was also fined £200 and ordered to pay costs of £120 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a victim surcharge of £48.

LOUISE SYLVIA GLEED, 34 and of Dale Valley Road in Poole, admitted committing a further offence while under a suspended sentence order made by Dorset Magistrates' Court on September 28, 2023. She was fined £50.

REECE JAMES BARTLETT, 27 and of Constitution Hill Road in Poole, was found guilty of using a mobile phone while driving in Ringwood Road, Longham on September 2, 2022. He was disqualified from driving for six months and was fined £120. He was also ordered to pay costs of £620 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a victim surcharge fee of £48.

MARLEY DAY, 27 and of Chickerell Road in Weymouth, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Bournemouth Crown Court on May 4, 2023. The original order was varied to contain new rehabilitation activity requirements, and he was ordered to pay costs of £60.

KATIE JANE BIRTWISTLE, 20 and of Rodwell Road in Weymouth, admitted committing a further offence while under a suspended sentence order made by Dorset Magistrates' Court on May 25, 2023. The suspended sentence – 12 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months – was implemented as a sentence of nine weeks.

ROGER RODNEY, 56 and of Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates' Court on June 16, 2023. The community order was revoked, and he was sent to prison for 42 days.

BRIAN LEE STOTT, 55 and of Roundhayes Close in Weymouth, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was sent back to prison for 14 days.

RYAN ANTHONY VELKOOP, 30 and of Cynthia Road in Poole, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was sent back to prison for seven days.
