It is a 7.4km route that should take around one hour and 40 minutes to complete.
The walk takes in regular streets, woodland and the beach so offers a lot of variation for a fairly short route.

Walk at White Mill and the Droves in Kingston Lacy

This moderate walk near the White Mill National Trust site is 5.1km long and should take around an hour and a half to complete.
The route can be found around a 30-40 minute drive away from Bournemouth.
Dogs are welcome on this route but should be put on a lead if going past livestock or traffic.
The route is fairly flat and goes on grass, gravel tracks and country lanes.

Bournemouth to Sandbanks

The longest route on this list concerns a walk from Bournemouth to Sandbanks, which should take around two hours and 50 minutes to complete.
You'll have a view of the sea at pretty much all times on this Boxing Day walk which is relatively flat and is described as "moderately challenging".

Boscombe Beach and Lower Gardens
