Christmas is fast approaching and as usual in the BCP area, it will see a slightly altered schedule for bin collections.
The Christmas and New Year period often throws the usual schedule out of the loop for a bit so people will need to be aware of a different day they will need to put their waste out.
Here are the revised dates for bin collections in the BCP area over the festive and New Year period.

On the BCP website, it says: "Your rubbish, recycling and food waste collection dates will be changing over the festive period.
There will be no collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year's Day with catch up collections taking place".
"Our collection crews will also be working on Saturday 30 December, Saturday 6 and Saturday 13 January 2024 to catch up on collections," it adds.
The revised days for bin collections over the Christmas and New Year period are as follows:
- Monday, December 25 collection will take place on Wednesday, December 27
- Tuesday, December 26 collection will take place on Thursday, December 28
- Wednesday, December 27 collection will take place on Friday, December 29
- Thursday, December 28 collection will take place on Saturday, December 30
- Friday, December 29 collection will take place on Tuesday, January 2
- Monday, January 1 collection will take place on Wednesday, January 3
- Tuesday, January 2 collection will take place on Thursday, January 4
- Wednesday, January 3 collection will take place on Friday, January 5
- Thursday, January 4 collection will take place on Saturday, January 6
- Friday, January 5 collection will take place on Monday, January 7
- Monday, January 8 collection will take place on Tuesday, January 9
- Tuesday, January 9 collection will take place on Wednesday, January 10
- Wednesday, January 10 collection will take place on Thursday, January 11
- Thursday, January 11 collection will take place on Friday, January 12
- Friday, January 12 collection will take place on Saturday, January 13
The council website adds: "Our collection crews will be distributing bin hangers to every household from the end of the month. These will have the revised collection days on them (as above) as well as useful information about what goes in your recycling bin and alternative ways to recycle what does not.
"Please bring them inside and keep them as a useful recycling guide for the coming year."
