GLASSES worth more than £700 were stolen from a high street optician.

Several pairs of glasses valued at £770 were taken from Boots Opticians in Lymington High Street, concealed under a jacket and taken from the store without payment.

Officers investigating the shoplifting in the town have released CCTV images of two women they would like to speak to in connection with it.

Hampshire Police believe the pair can help with the investigation, and the force has urged them or anyone who knows their identity to get in touch.

A spokesperson for the county force said: “If you have information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
