A BOURNEMOUTH restaurant has been named the UK’s ‘Thai Restaurant of The Year’.
Tiien Thai Restaurant in St Michael's Road has been awarded ‘Thai Restaurant of The Year’ at the Asian Curry Awards 2023.
The award ceremony, which has been dubbed the “Curry Oscars”, is the biggest event in the Asian culinary calendar.
Tiien was shortlisted for the award category in September, before being whittled down to a finalist by voting members of the public.
The restaurant was then named the winner by a panel of judges from the Asian Catering Federation (ACF).
After picking up the award, Tiien issued thanks on social media to all of its voters.
The Daily Echo has approached Tiien for a comment.
