A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash.

The woman sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing after the crash in Ferndown.

The crash happened at the junction of Wimborne Road East and Church Road on Monday night, November 21.

It involved a black Mercedes Benz and a green Nissan Micra.

Police were called to the scene shortly before 9pm and officers attended along with the ambulance service.

Officers left the scene at around 11pm.

Dorset Police said no arrests had been made in relation to the crash.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 20:49hrs on Monday 20 November to a road traffic incident on Wimborne Road East, Ferndown.

"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and an air ambulance, and we conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Poole Hospital.”
