A CYCLIST was seriously injured in a suspected hit and run crash in Bournemouth.
The man was riding back home from work shortly before 11pm on Friday, November 17, when he became involved in a crash with a car in St Michael’s Road.
Police say the rider went to hospital with serious injuries, but the car had ‘failed to stop’ at the scene of the crash.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “At approximately 10.50pm on Friday 17 November 2023 a collision occurred involving a car and a cyclist on St Michael’s Road in Bournemouth.
“The incident was reported to Dorset Police at 11.45pm. It is reported that the car failed to stop at the scene.
“The male cyclist sustained a serious injury and attended hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing into the collision.
“No arrests have been made.”
