VISITORS to Castlepoint this festive season will be able to enjoy an indoor roller rink, ringos, and screenings of their favourite Christmas films.
Castlepoint has partnered with LEDhouse, a company that provides LED screens, to create FestivePoint at the centre in Castle Lane.
Families can hop on a ‘magical elevator to Santa’, to visit a grotto, while also being able to enjoy VR experiences, a roller rink, and 150 real Christmas trees.
There will be live performances, music, and Christmas movies, including Elf, Home Alone, and The Grinch, on large LED screens.
FestivePoint is billed to open from November 30 to December 3, December 7 to 10 and December 13 to 23.
LEDhouse Limited has applied for a licence for films, live music, recorded music, and performances of dance.
It has also applied for a licence to supply alcohol between 9am and 11pm. The consultation on the licence application ends on December 6.
A Castlepoint spokesperson said on social media FestivePoint would be a ‘Christmas experience like no other.’
