PART of a busy road in Poole will be closed for around four weeks for emergency sewerage repairs.
A section of Ringwood Road has been shut while Wessex Water carries out the works.
Work started on the afternoon of Thursday, November 9, near the junction of Haymoor Road in Parkstone.
Drivers are being urged to allow extra time for their journeys.
Wessex Water said the work is expected to take around four weeks to complete.
A Wessex Water spokesperson said: “We’re sorry for any traffic delays caused by this urgent and essential work on our sewerage network.”
The water company said customers’ water or sewerage services will be unaffected.
Access will be maintained for residents but may be restricted at times.
Posting on social media, Morebus said its number 18 service heading towards Bournemouth will divert after Dorchester Road past the Sweet Home Inn and Up Constitution Hill to Seaview, and towards Broadstone.
Stops at Dale Road, Haymoor and Liberal club, and Grove Road will not be served.
