A WOMAN was kicked in the head in an alley near a Bournemouth school.

The 19-year-old was left with minor facial injuries after she was assaulted by a woman she knew, according to reports made to police.

She had been crouched down during the attack that happened off Cranleigh Road, which leads to Stourfield Junior School, at around 1pm on Sunday, November 5.

The victim was crouched down as she was kicked in the head, causing minor injuries to her face.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Police constable Heather Anderson, of Dorset Police, said: “I understand there were members of the public who witnessed what happened and engaged with the victim following the incident.

“I would ask these people to please come forward so I can take your account of what you saw.

“Also, I am keen to hear from anyone else who may have witnessed what happened or has information about the incident.”
