Treehouses at Chewton Glen in New Milton were awarded in the Best for Romance category with Condé Nast Johansens praising the "ultimate luxury and on-trend style on the edge of the New Forest".

They wrote: "Inside, each bedroom and suite is nothing short of utter luxury with marble bathrooms and views over the grounds.

"Treehouses offer alternative accommodation tucked away in Chewton Glen’s wooded valley. These spacious suites are set on stilts, and are extremely private complete with kitchenettes.

"However, you’re missing out if you bypass Executive Chef Luke Matthews’ clever dishes prepared from local produce alongside an impressive wine list.

"That’s if you can haul yourself away from the heavenly spa with steam room, sauna and hydrotherapy pool."

Chewton Glen has also been well-received on Tripadvisor, earning a 4.5/5 score from 3,039 reviews.

Meanwhile, the Eastbury Hotel in Sherborne was awarded in the Best Value Experience category with Condé Nast Johansens praising it for its "warm smiles and fine meals".

They wrote: "Beyond its town house exterior lies a Tardis interior that unfolds to reveal rooms of varying sizes and designs.

"Some guest rooms are Georgian through-and-through, while others are contemporary in style.

"Individual touches include a freestanding bath discreetly shielded by an antique screen, a vast mahogany sleigh bed and Asian-inspired sliding shoji doors."

Eastbury Hotel has also been well-received on Tripadvisor, earning a score of 4.5/5 from 1,101 reviews.

One reviewer wrote: "Stunning surroundings, really lovely professional and friendly staff, and a beautiful room - we stayed in one of the potting sheds and what a treat that was!

"All in all we felt very looked after and can’t wait to return.

"Oh, and I can’t leave my review without mentioning the spa, tucked away and offering a calming, quiet experience away from the usual hustle and bustle of spas nowadays."
