A PR, social media, and marketing agency has expanded its senior team.

McKenna Townsend, which is based in Ringwood, has welcomed Charlotte Sampson as associate director.

Charlotte is a highly skilled, senior PR and marketing professional with more than 12 years' experience in the outdoor and leisure industry.

This includes seven years as a senior PR manager working with more than 25 brands globally.

Charlotte said: “I am looking forward to channelling all I have learnt within the outdoor industry and utilising it for the benefits of the team and the clients.

“I am honoured to be joining such a well respected agency and looking forward to contributing to the success of McKenna Townsend alongside my dedicated and passionate colleagues.”

McKenna Townsend said Charlotte will align with its “ambitious plans” for the next five years and will be researching new opportunities, as well as offering her team support so they can continue to deliver “high impact results for a diverse range of clients", implementing plans to maximize PR, social media, and marketing campaigns.

The agency said Charlotte will be integral in helping clients achieve their goals, developing knowledge, and reputations on a regional, national, and international scale.

Charlotte previously worked with local companies including Garmin and Muc-Off, where she sought out opportunities with key partners including the National Trust and Go Outdoors.

She has also worked with distributors throughout the globe alongside key retailers including Halfords, Evans, and Wiggle plus, and also helped brands activate at key events including the Tour de France and the Tour of Britain.
