A CYCLIST who shoved a woman in the chest during an argument when she tried to help her elderly mother cross the road has yet to be found.

A number of enquiries have been carried out in relation to an incident involving a male cyclist and a pedestrian earlier in the summer.

As reported, a woman was crossing the road with her mum when they became involved in a verbal spat with a cyclist in Southbourne Overcliff Drive, Bournemouth, on August 9.

She is said to have taken her phone out to take a picture but he tried to knock the phone out of her hand and pushed her to the chest.

Efforts to find the cyclist have not been successful and the investigation has finished.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Officers carried out various enquiries into this incident but no arrests have been made and our investigation has concluded.

“As ever, we will investigate any news lines of enquiry should they emerge in the future.”

Anyone who recognises him is urged to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or call 101, quoting reference number 55230098501.
