Production company See-Saw Productions remained tight-lipped when approached by the Bridport and Lyme Regis News, but a letter to residents shows filming scheduled between October 2 and 5.

The letter tells residents it 'endeavours to keep disruption to a minimum.'

Today will continue at the beach as well as Broad Street and Thursday will move to the South West Coast Path and Langmoor & Lister Gardens.

Netflix has confirmed on Monday that season three of the British teen drama is in production.

The show stars Kit Connor, Joe Locke, Stephen Fry and Olivia Colman.

It follows the story of Charlie Spring (Locke), a gay schoolboy who falls in love with classmate Nick Nelson (Connor), whom he sits next to in his new form. It is based on Alice Oseman's successful LGBTQ+ webcomics for young adults.

Lyme Regis has proven a popular filming location, with scenes for the upcoming 'Wonka' movie  filmed on the Cobb.

In March 2019, crowds excitedly gathered near the town's seafront to catch a glimpse of Kate Winslett and Saoirse Ronan as they filmed Ammonite.
