A MAN has come forward to police after a cyclist reported being bitten by a spaniel.
Police are investigating the small black dog and a man seen walking with him after it reportedly bit a cyclist twice on two days.
The cyclist, a man, said he had injuries to his leg after both incidents on August 2 and September 12 between the Stephen’s Castle Viewpoint and Stephen’s Stones in Ringwood Forest.
Following an image appeal, the man with the dog has come forward and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Dorset Police said: “We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.”
