A MAN died in the car park of a Poole park over the weekend.
Paramedics and the police were called to Poole Park Car Park, close to The Kitchen, at around 8.30pm on Saturday, September 23.
An air ambulance had landed nearby, with police saying the man, in his 60s, was in need of medical attention, however, he died at the scene.
A cordon was put in place to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified.
A spokesman for the force said: “Dorset Police received a report at 8.28pm on Saturday 23 September 2023 relating to a man requiring medical treatment in the area of Poole Park.
“Officers attended, along with the ambulance service. Very sadly the man, aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been notified.
“The man’s family has been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
