THE last pints have been pulled at Ferndown’s ever-popular Wetherspoon's pub.
The Nightjar in Victoria Road had its final day of trade on Sunday, September 24.
Punters enjoyed their last servings of food and drink before the pub closed its doors as midnight.
Wetherspoon announced the closure earlier this year. The chain elected not to renew the lease for the building after the landlord hiked up the price, it is understood.
Shortly after the announcement, a petition gathered more than 1000 signatures from the pub’s regulars who demanded Wetherspoon rethink its decision.
However, bosses confirmed the closure would be going ahead, and the September 24 closing date was given.
The building is currently being advertised to let on Fleurets as a “prime town centre location”.
