It's the family business celebrating 20 years of helping customers drive off in their dream motorhome. 

Dolphin Motorhomes, which started in 2003 with four members of staff, five motorhomes and a portacabin, held a huge festival style celebration to mark two decades at the top.

The event, held in the grounds of the Beaulieu Estate, proved to be a massive success with over 70 families enjoying their motorhome pitch for the weekend as a thank you from Dolphin for their custom.

It was a bumper weekend for visitors as well as they came to view the motorhomes and enjoy complimentary food and entertainment, including a barbecue, silent disco, live music, dog show and charity quiz and games. More than £4000 was raised for the local charity Abby’s Heroes, which supports children, teenagers, young adults and their families when diagnosed with cancer.

Dolphin Motorhomes, which has branches in Christchurch and Bursledon now employs 27 staff and has more than 80 motor caravans, motorhomes, campers and RVs across its two forecourts. 

The firm was recently awarded two gold awards in the prestigious Practical Motorhomes’ Owner Satisfaction Awards 2023. Dolphin won gold in the ‘Supplying Dealer of Pre-Owned Motorhomes’ category as well as the ‘Supplying Dealer of New Motorhomes’ category in the only awards scheme based entirely on owners experiences.

It has also been ranked third fastest-growing small to medium enterprise in the region, according to The Business Magazine’s Solent SME Growth 100 list.

At the close of 2021, amidst a global pandemic, Dolphin Motorhomes recorded a 100.4 per cent increase in annual turnover.

Company founder and Managing Director, Josh Willis, prides himself on running a business with customer service at its forefront.
