Bournemouth Airport has been rated as one of the top three airports in the UK for customer experience.
Consumer champion, Which?, conducted the annual survey to collect customer feedback on their airport experiences.
A customer score was calculated from visitors’ overall satisfaction and likeliness to recommend, as well as how long they spent queuing at security.
Bournemouth Airport achieved a 75 per cent customer score, putting it among the top airports in the country.

The airport also received four-star ratings in five categories, including queuing at check-in, baggage reclaim, and customer experience received from airport staff.
Bournemouth Airport was praised for having one of the shortest security waiting times, at 13 minutes.
The site also had fewer flight cancellations than any other airport in the survey, with only 0.1 per cent from May 2022 to April 2023.
Steve Gill, managing director of Bournemouth Airport, said: "We are absolutely delighted to see Bournemouth Airport recognised as one of the top three airports in the UK for customer experience in this survey conducted by Which?
“The esteemed 'Recommended Provider' status is a resounding vote of confidence not only in our airport but, most importantly, in our dedicated staff who consistently go above and beyond for our passengers.”

Bournemouth Airport ranked highly in the annual survey last year, coming out as fifth overall.
Earlier this summer, the airport also received a ‘very good’ ranking from the Civil Aviation Authority, the highest rating possible, for its customer service to disabled and less mobile passengers.
In April, a groundbreaking 360-degree video guide for passengers was launched to offer a virtual tour of the airport.
The guide was developed as part of an ongoing collaboration with Cranfield University to provide vital information to passengers with specific accessibility requirements before they travel.
Bournemouth Airport, owned and operated by Regional & City Airports, is part of Rigby Group plc and offers flights to 35 destinations in 18 countries.
