A PAIR of pigs called Pudding and Pie are looking for a new home.

Dorset-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green has issued an appeal to find forever homes for a number of animals in its care this week.

They include pigs, dogs, and rabbits.

Can you help? All the details are below.

Bournemouth Echo: LupinLupin (Image: Margaret Green)

Lupin is an 18-month-old, smaller-sized Lurcher who enjoys zooming about and going for walks. He is looking for a home with adults and older children who will continue his training sessions or take him to some classes. Lupin loves meeting other dogs so we think he would enjoy living with another older four-legged friend, following a successful introduction, but we think he would be best suited to a home without cats or small animals.

Bournemouth Echo: SidSid (Image: Margaret Green)

Sid is a friendly and exuberant, 18-month-old Lurcher who has an endless sense of adventure and fun! He would love to find a family who will enjoy lots of long walks and have time to explore the great outdoors with him. We think that Sid would love to live with some fellow canines, and he would be happy living with adults and teenagers, but he would prefer a home without cats.

Bournemouth Echo: GiselleGiselle (Image: Margaret Green)

Giselle is a 2-year-old Lurcher who is looking for a calm and patient family with adults. She is at her most confident when she has other dogs around her, so she would love to join a family with steady and friendly dog, in a home without cats. Giselle is blind in one eye, and she can’t always see things clearly, so her new owners will need to be understanding and her best advocates.

Bournemouth Echo: Mischief Mischief (Image: Margaret Green)

Mischief is an 8-month-old Rottweiler cross who has the happiest and cheekiest of characters, and loves playing with his toys! He is looking for a family with adults and teenagers who will have the space and time for a big, bouncy and incredibly loveable dog. We think Mischief would enjoy living with other dogs in an active, outdoorsy household, but he would be best suited to a home without cats.

Bournemouth Echo: Pudding & Pie Pudding & Pie (Image: Margaret Green)

Pudding & Pie are a 7-year-old, bonded pair of pigs who enjoy each other’s company. Pudding is an affectionate girl, but she can be a little bossy at times. Pie can be shy until he gets to know you, but they both enjoy a good belly scratch once comfortable. They are looking for a home with a draught-free bedroom and a large amount of paddock space, as their favourite hobby is landscaping.

Bournemouth Echo: Florence & TigerFlorence & Tiger (Image: Margaret Green)

Florence & Tiger are a pair of 4-year-old rabbits who are looking for a new home where they will have plenty of space to hop around, and a sunny spot where they can nap together. We have noticed that Florence enjoys having a quiet space where she can go to relax and take time for herself, so it would be important for her to have this special place in her new home too.
