FIVE street food traders could get their 15 (or more) minutes of fame after being offered units in The Dolphin.

The new businesses will have the chance to deliver flavours and styles right to the heart of Poole.

The Dolphin already holds a 'vast amount' of food retailers such as Kokoro and Slice Guys.

The units will be next to the FOUNDRY workspace and opposite the skills and learning facility.

Successful applicants will have street access, allowing them home delivery options for hungry customers.

John Grinnell, centre manager of The Dolphin, said: “This is another evolution of The Dolphin’s community focus, carrying the ethos of the KINGLAND crescent revitalisation to the heart of the centre.

“We are looking for established, local street food operators to bring their ideas to The Dolphin.

“This gives these businesses the opportunity to expand their offering and engage directly with our existing customer base.

“We believe welcoming these street food operators into the centre will continue to enhance The Dolphin as a destination for visitors and local residents, and further highlight our ambition to support growing businesses in Poole.”
