A BOURNEMOUTH businessman providing ‘bespoke’ financial planning across the south – Twelve Wealth Management is Trader of the Week.

Twelve Wealth Management provides face-to-face financial advice to private and corporate clients, covering areas such as inheritance tax, investment and retirement planning.

The firm was launched by Bournemouth man Marc Norris and its first office was in London.

Marc said: “I was born in Bournemouth and grew up there, and then moved to London in 2009.

“I was working in property and doing a lot of portfolio management. I used to look after big portfolios for clients, and a few clients started asking if I’d do that with their other assets.

“I didn’t know the first thing about financial assets, but then I re-trained and then decided to start my own company.”

Marc was experiencing success in London but decided to open a second office in Bournemouth so that he and his family could move back.

He told the Daily Echo: “We’re now a team of 30 people, and we advise clients across London and the south.

“We’ve had the Bournemouth office since 2018 – we want to start scaling it up.

“We’ve also just sponsored Bournemouth Rugby Club. We’re trying to get more involved with the local community here.”

Twelve Wealth Management is successful because of its ‘bespoke’ services, according to Marc. He said: “We’re very hands-on, and we do a lot of financial modelling and lifestyle financial planning.

“We like to put a lot of substance as to why people are doing things. We model everything out. First of all, we ascertain what the client’s goal is, whether it’s buying their first house, buying their second house, retiring at 50, or passing wealth down to the children.

“We’ll then model it out with a time frame and financial figure attached to it. We’ll build the client a lifestyle plan and go through that plan with the client in the detail, so they know why we’re doing things.”
