‘A PRESTIGIOUS’ part of Bournemouth shopping space is up for sale with a guide price of around £1.6m.

Two shop units within the Arcade are being sold by property auction specialists, Acuitus.

One of the shops is currently occupied by long-established jeweller Charles Fox.

The 4,464 sq ft space is currently let at a rent of £111,106 on two long leases running until 2068.

Charles Fox plans to expand into the neighbouring shop, which is also up for sale within the auction at a guide price of £350,000-£375,000.

The jeweller has recently signed a new 15-year lease from June 2023 paying an annual rent of £27,500.

The property at 21/22 Bournemouth Arcade has a guide price of £1.55m-£1.6m.

The Acuitus auction will take place on Thursday, July 13 at 2pm and will be broadcast via the company’s website.

David Margolis of Acuitus said: “These assets sit on the prominent Victorian shopping parade in central Bournemouth and benefit from a very established and expanding independent retailer. This is the type of investment that will attract those looking for secure assets and income”.
