A PERSON has been taken to hospital after a car crashed into two parked cars in a Bournemouth high street.
Police were called to Charminster Road in the early hours of Sunday following reports a vehicle had crashed into two parked cars.
Ambulance and firefighters also attended the incident.
There were no significant injuries but one person was taken to hospital as a precaution, police said.
On Sunday morning, two vehicles could be seen with significant damage.
One of them, a black Nissan, was across most of the pavement outside Enigma gift shop.
The other damaged vehicle, a grey Vauxhall, was partly on the pavement at an angle a short distance down the road towards the turning for Hankinson Road.
The impact of the crashes could be seen in the body work of both vehicles.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said a 23-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of a driving offence.
