Bournemouth has been ranked inside the top 20 UK seaside spots to get fish and chips according to research from the travel site Omio.
Using Tripadvisor data, the research ranked UK locations based on the number of fish and chip shops, the average rating and the average number of reviews.
Bournemouth came 18th in the list beating out Tenby in Wales in 19th and New Brighton in Merseyside in 20th.
It was found to have 49 fish and chip establishments on Tripadvisor, with the average rating being 3.97/5.
Additionally, the average number of reviews per establishment was 725.
Plockton in the Scottish Highlands topped the list, with its four fish and chip shops having an average rating of 4.38/5.
