LUXURY apartments at a 291-home waterfront development have been launched on the market – with some up for more than £1million.

The first new homes at The Waterfront development, currently under construction at West Quay Marina in Poole, are up for grabs ahead of project completion next year.

With views across Upton Lake and Twin Sails Bridge, there will be a total of 291 new one, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses with spacious living areas, modern kitchens and large bathrooms.

The apartments, developed by London Land Group and marketed by Savills, will be arranged across five buildings, reaching up to 11 storeys high, with the design taking inspiration from the maritime heritage of the surrounding area.

Prices are from £278,250 for a one-bedroom to £1.1m for the three-bedroom penthouses.

Residents will have access to a range of amenities, including a professionally landscaped communal courtyard with office pods, two furnished resident club lounges with full kitchen and dining facilities and exclusive roof terraces with views out across the harbour.

Each residence will also have access to a private balcony, underfloor heating, mechanical ventilation, LED lighting, video intercom and smart home ready features.

There will also be a passenger lift to all floors.

Having secured initial planning approval in 2017, Octopus Real Estate partnered with Sirius Property Finance to provide a £69m loan for the West Quay Road regeneration project.

A launch event was held at the development on May 18 to mark the opening of the sales suite.

Guests including the mayor of Poole, Cllr Tony Trent, and Poole BID lead Jacqui Rock attended.

Savills director Helen Asteris said: “We are expecting a great deal of interest, with potential buyers drawn to the luxury finish, exclusive communal facilities and of course its waterfront location, with many of the apartments enjoying views across the water.”

The marketing suite at the foot of the Twin Sales Bridge is now open, with a show home expected in early 2024.

The site was formerly occupied by several businesses including City Bay Views Chinese restaurant, Twin Sails Wharf and The Marina Club.

Apartments are set to be complete in summer 2024.
