A PLOT of land surrounded by homes is set to go up for sale at auction having been earmarked as ideal for development.

Grassland at De Havilland Way in Christchurch has been given a purchasing guide price of more than £5,000 ahead of going under the hammer later this month.

The land itself, which is located between the junctions for Comet Way and Bure Homage Lane, measures approximately 4,500 square feet (418 square metres).

Plans have been drawn up for the erection of a two bedroom detached bungalow, however no planning application has been submitted for this scheme and plans could change.

Selling agent, Auction House London, says it makes no representations or warranties regarding the scheme and/or the validity of the aforementioned plans.

They said: “Buyers must rely on their own enquiries regarding any development potential, permissions required and any previous planning history in respect of this site.”

Also up at the same auction is land at 25 Elmers Way in Bransgore, a freehold parcel of land measuring approximately 135 sqm (1,443 sq ft). Despite being a smaller plot, the guide price is listed as more than £10,000.

The online auction will take place on May 24. Visit auctionhouselondon.co.uk for more information.
