A WOMAN was hospitalised this morning after a car crashed into the front of a convenience shop in Wareham.
The crash, which is understood to have happened after a crash with another car, happened shortly before 10.30am on Thursday, April 20.
Police attended and found a grey Volkswagen Golf had crashed into the front of the Co-op shop in North Street, Wareham.
No serious injuries had been reported and it is believed there is no structural damage to the shop, according to the police.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 10.30am of a two-vehicle collision in North Street in Wareham. It was reported one of the vehicles had also collided with a shop window.
“There were no reports of any serious injuries and there was not believed to be any structural damage to the shop. One woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“Officers left the scene at around 11.40am.”
The Co-op has been approached for a comment.
