A yellow weather warning has been issued for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole for "strong winds" from Tuesday, April 11.

The alert will be in place from 3 pm on Tuesday until the very end of Wednesday, April 12, and wind speeds of up to 50mph could be reached.

People have been warned of potential delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport, and bus and train services.

The weather warning will be impacting much of the Western part of England, Wales and some parts of Scotland.
