A MAN and two teenage boys have been arrested after a drugs search unearthed offensive weapons in north Dorset.

Following information received in relation to suspected county lines drug dealing in the Blandford area, police officers stopped a vehicle in the town at around 1.35am on Saturday, March 25. 

Officers searched the two people in the car as well as the vehicle itself and a 25-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs. 

Searches were subsequently carried out at addresses in the town and a number of weapons and suspected drugs were reportedly recovered. 

The 14-year-old boy was further arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply and possessing an offensive weapon.  

A 17-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B drug and possessing an offensive weapon. 

All three individuals have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
