POPULAR TV show Antiques Roadshow will visit a Dorset seaside town this summer.

The show will be taking to Swanage Pier and seafront on Friday, June 23.

A spokesperson for Swanage Pier said: “We’re so excited to announce that Swanage Pier is now confirmed as a location for the next series of BBC Antiques Roadshow.”

The TV show, which has been on air since 1979, will also be making appearances in the London Borough of Bromley, Swanage, Glasgow, Cardiff, Derry-Londonderry, and Leeds.

Following the success of the last two years, Roadshows will again be a ticketed only event, which are free and can be applied for on the Lost in TV website.

There are both morning and afternoon sessions, at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Due to the popularity of Antiques Roadshow, you may have to queue to see the expert team, however refreshments will be able to buy on the day as well as being able to bring your own food and drinks.

More information will be available at a later time for things such as parking arrangements, accessibility and guidance on bringing dogs.

Successful applicants will receive their tickets four to six weeks ahead of the event date.
